The sun was shinning and blinding me as I sat in the grass waiting for his turn.  My son who has always been the shortest guy in the class, a concern to the doctors, mistaken for younger, stepped up to bat.  Being the very youngest team on the league means that there are no outs, no losers, everyone bats and everyone one runs home, so whats the point you ask?

The baby is still in the hospital.  It has been over a week...

My feet hurt from work

A friend has cancer in her neck and base of her brain.

I am missing a sister.  She is gone.

My grandma turned 80 today and I didn't get her a gift.

Sometimes I have a hard time reaching out to people...I am lonely.

I am broke.


Sometimes my glass is half empty....

I feel like life is a race, reaching little goals along the way.  From goal to goal.  
What happens between goals?

Run the good race.

I have been so busy!  I joined a photo club, a school fundraising group, A ladies study group, became a birh coach for a friend and got a new full time job and my same part time job and am still booking photo shoots.  Of course raising my kids and keeping my house together is just a given.

So today the baby is arriving and everything else screeches to a halt.  It reminds me what is important.  Plus I think i'll be able to fulfill my photo assignment with brand new baby pictures

I am trying to decide which photo to submit to my photo club.  We are going to display our work on a 6 foot screen and then open it up for critique.  I really can't decide between my four newest additions.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You know how sometimes there is not much action with your art and other times....Well tonight a new friend and I are hosting our first photographers club meeting.  I am excited to get some momentum going, talk shop with others and to have an art outlet.  We have 4 or 5 people signed up so far.  I am also editing a maternity session I shot as a gift.  I am having so much fun with it!  I feel lucky to be creating art.  There is so much beauty around us and in us, keep translating it.
